I reside in the DC area and am considering a kitchen renovation. From Europe I am writing – I even have had the third ikea kitchen now (beforehand I had one for 10 years and it was flawless!) and I think they’re super good quality. And they appear high-end in contrast with lots of different kitchens from shops. Customer service can also be very buyer pleasant – they immediately replaced the 8-12 months-old countertop (which was broken by our fault!) free of charge. I’d say go for it in case you have a tiny finances and no want for custom measurements cabinetry.
